Rocky Ink & Piercing sits just off Whitechapel Road on Vine Court, E1. It's a small, friendly studio built around one idea: take the time to get it right. Clients come back for the fine line detail and the unhurried, no-pressure feel, whether it's a first tiny tattoo or a piercing that needed sorting out.

Rocky talks you through placement, jewellery and aftercare before anything starts, so you walk out knowing exactly how to look after your new piece.

Before you come in

GOOD TO KNOW

Do I need to book, or can I walk in?

Message on WhatsApp or call ahead and Rocky will find you a slot. Walk-ins are welcome when there's a free chair, and the studio keeps long hours later in the week, but messaging first is the safest way to be seen.

How much will my tattoo cost?

Every tattoo is custom, so price depends on size, detail and placement. Send a photo of your idea, roughly where you'd like it and the size you're after on WhatsApp and Rocky will come back with a quote.

How old do I have to be?

You must be 18 or over to be tattooed in the UK, and you'll need to bring valid photo ID on the day, no exceptions. Piercing age policies vary, so message the studio to check before you book a younger client in.

Do you fix or change piercings done elsewhere?

Yes. Rocky regularly helps with piercings that aren't sitting right, jewellery changes and sizing. Bring it in or send a photo first and he'll advise on what can be done.

How do I look after a new tattoo or piercing?

Rocky talks you through aftercare in detail before you leave, so you know exactly what to do and what to avoid while it heals. If you're unsure at any point afterwards, message the studio and he'll help.
